Solar powered toothbrush
Image toothbrush without toothpaste? Impossible?
---
The Shiken Company of Japan is field testing a funky solar-powered toothbrush that doesn't require toothpaste. The Soladey-J3X - designed by Dr. Kunio Komiyama and Dr. Gerry Uswak works as a solar toothbrush a solar panel at its base that transmits electrons to the top of the toothbrush through a lead wire.
It is believed that these electrons react with acid in the mouth resulting in a chemical reaction that breaks down plaque and kills bacteria. This is a great device that apparently doesn’t cost too much either.---
Consequences follow.

9 Eye Exercises
lmost all types of works are now connected with computer. Too much of computer works can bring stress not only to our body but most especially on its direct recipient, the eyes.
Here are so exercises to relax our tired eyes:
Eye Exercise 1
First of all, sit down in a comfortable position. Cover your eyes with the palms of your hands. Don’t press the eyeballs. Try to relax and watch the darkness for 30 seconds. Breathe quietly and deeply all the time.
Eye Exercise 2
Sitting in the same position, look up and hold so for 5 seconds. Then release. Now look down hold so for 5 seconds. Then, again, release. Make 5 repetitions.
Eye Exercise 3
Now look right, hold for 5 seconds and release. Then look left, hold for 5 seconds and relax your eyes. Make 5 repetitions.
Eye Exercise 4
If you have enough time, you can do the exercises very similar to the previous two: look up left and down right, and then up right and down left with the same periodicity. It will only help more.
Eye Exercise 5
Close your eyes as tightly as you can, hold so for 5 second and release. Then open your eye as widely as you can, hold for 5 seconds and relax. Make 5 repetitions.
Eye Exercise 6
Rotate your eyeballs 5 circles to the left and relax your eyes. Then rotate them 5 circles to the right and also relax.
Eye Exercise 7
Look at the tip of your nose. Don’t be afraid, cross your eyes! Hold for 3 seconds and relax. Then look up at the ceiling without moving your head, hold for 3 seconds and relax your eyes. Repeat 5 times.
Eye Exercise 8
Find any object which is near you, for instance, the “escape” button and focus on it for 2 seconds. Then focus far away through the window for 2 seconds. Repeat 10 times.
Eye Exercise 9
Standing in one corner of the room (or sitting where you are), scan the objects in the room with your eyes. Focus on the table, then on the clocks, lights, doors and so on. Do this for one minute.
Other Useful tips
- While you are doing these eye exercises, take a few seconds to blink your eyes before you start doing the next exercise.
- Wash your face and eyes with cold water from time to time.
- Your eyes will also like a gentle massage of the eyelids and the surrounding areas.
- Make sure you consume enough vitamin A, which is good for the eyes health.
Try to sleep enough.

Tips to overcome sugar addiction
These 10 recommendations will make it easier to get a sugar problem under control.
#1: Keep sugar and sugar products (white and brown sugar, corn syrup, and maple syrup) out of your house.
#2: Eat enough healthy food to satisfy your hunger. Eat healthy, whole food snacks like fruit, carrots, red pepper, cherry tomatoes, dates, and dried fruit to satisfy your sweet tooth. Drink plenty of water, too.
Important: Once you have cleared sugar from your system, your taste buds will become more sensitive, and these whole natural foods will taste sweeter and more satisfying. If you slow down and eat mindfully, you'll enjoy these foods even more.
#3: Eat three regular meals each day that combine complex carbohydrates (vegetables, whole grains, and fruits), lean protein (poultry, fish, meat, dairy, tofu) and healthy fats (milk, cheese, omega-3's, olive oil and other cold-pressed oils). This will help you maintain a steady blood sugar level throughout the day and reduce your sugar cravings.
Important: Eating a diet high in fiber also helps to reduce sugar cravings.
#4: Take a multivitamin and mineral supplement.
Important: Chromium picolinate and l-glutamine help to reduce cravings for some people.
#5: When you go out, make sure you are not ravenously hungry, especially if sugary sweets will be the only food available. Bring your own healthy snacks with you, or eat before going out.
#6: Get regular exercise, plenty of sunlight, and adequate sleep to reduce sugar cravings.
#7: Learn to identify and manage cravings that are not a result of physical hunger, but instead are rooted in stress or anxiety.
Important: Develop alternative ways of managing stress: Take a walk, call a friend, read a book, play with your pet, watch a movie. Breathe, meditate, listen to music, or take a hot bath to activate your body's relaxation response. Relaxation helps to balance your blood sugar and reduce cravings.
#8: If you have turned to sugar to deal with uncomfortable feelings, learn to identify the specific feelings and respond appropriately to them. If you are tired, take a break or rest, rather than trying to persevere in the face of fatigue. If you are bored, find something stimulating to do. If you are lonely, reach out to a friend.
Important: Overcoming your sugar addiction involves really paying attention to what you are feeling, and giving yourself what you really need instead of using sugar as a substitute.
#9: If you do overindulge in sugar, acknowledge that you slipped, and get back on track as soon as possible.
Important: Let go of the guilt and shame. Eating sugar is unhealthy, but it's not a sin. As with other addictions, it doesn't matter if you need multiple attempts to quit, just that you keep trying until it sticks.
#10: Be kind to yourself. To end the struggle with sugar, learn to nourish your body well and respond compassionately to your own feelings.
Key point: The best sugar substitute is genuine self-acceptance.

Futuristic Bus
According to Yahoo! News:
China's Shenzhen Huashi Future Parking Equipment company is developing a "3D Express Coach" (also known as a "three-dimensional fast bus").
According to them, will reduce pollution and a new plan to build a "straddling bus" is among the most space-age schemes yet.
The innovation will allow cars less than 2 meters high to travel underneath the upper level of the vehicle, which will be carrying passengers. The 3D Express Coach will be powered by a combination of electricity and solar energy, and will be able to travel up to 60 kilometers per hour carrying some 1200 to 1400 passengers
